Trick Timer Quickstart

Welcome to the SplashEye Trick Timer QuickStart Guide

The Intuitive User interface of the Trick Timer will be familiar if you have used SplashEye before.

But if you haven’t, here’s how to time a Trick Pass in just a few easy steps

1.    Load a video file from anywhere on your hard drive, USB Stick or SD card

2. Arm the system (Click Arm menu or press F5) This sets the video running

3. When the skier makes the first movement of the ski Start the System – Just Hit the Enter key

4. Adjust the First Frame in time by clicking the left-right buttons beneath the frame or use the left right arrow keys.

5.  Continue to watch the rest of the pass while you adjust the first frame

6. When the pass is finished you can continue to adjust the First Frame

7. When you are ready Confirm the first frame. This locks down your choice and shows the last frame in time

8. Review the last trick. Press any Number Key. This will play that many seconds BEFORE the last frame, followed by a pause exactly at time, followed by two seconds after time. A great review tool

9.  When you are finished reviewing Finish the pass. This makes a copy of the 20 second pass (plus a few seconds at each end) and saves it with the skiers name

10. Use the Event Judges View to give the Event Judges a completely separate view of the same pass. Switch it on under the Settings Menu then drag it to a second monitor
